Road Trip 2007

7 days on the road. More than 2300 miles all the way. 12 states visited. 2 cars used. From the Atlantic Ocean to the Mississippi River. It's Road Trip 2007!

Day 1 - Boston

On Day 1 we stayed in Boston, where we walked the Freedom trail from start to finish.

Day 2 - Southern New England

On Day 2 we toured Southern New England. You can see the route here. One of the places where we stopped was Plymouth where we saw the various pilgrim related sites.

Day 3 - Central New England

On Day 3 we drove up along the Atlantic coast to Kennebunkport where we turned inland and drove through Central New England to Rutland, VT. You can see the route here. The drive included the very scenic Kancamagus Highway.

Day 4 - New York

On Day 4 we drove across the state of New York. You can see the route here. At the end of the day we spent several hours in Letchworth State Park where we saw "The Grand Canyon of the East".

Day 5 - Great Lakes

On Day 5 we drove from Buffalo to Detroit. You can see the route here. The highlight of the day was Niagara Falls.

Day 6 - Michigan

On Day 6 we drove through most of Michigan. You can see the route here. On the way we stopped at Mackinaw.

Day 7 - Upper Midwest

On Day 7 we drove from Michigan's Upper Peninsula through northern Wisconsin to our destination Minneapolis. You can see the route here.
